The Olympics Tug-O-War is always a favourite! This years olympics takes place this Wednesday April 24th from 10am.
Céim Eile Youthreach Templemore in conjunction with Tipperary ETB are hosting this year’s Tipperary ETB Mini Olympics.
Now in its third year, the event aims to bring together learners and staff from six Tipperary ETB educational centres throughout the county for a fun filled day of activities that includes not only a host of different sports but also nonsporting events such as hairdressing, art and beauty.
There will be something for everyone on the day fostering ‘Inclusivity for all’ which is a key aspiration within Tipperary ETB.
This event is being held this Wednesday the 24th of April in Bishop Quinlan Park (GAA grounds) Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary.
An opening ceremony will commence at 10am followed by numerous activities throughout the day.
The overall winner of the event will be presented with the John Kelly memorial cup during the closing ceremony at 2.30pm.
On the day music, light refreshments and entertainment will be provided and the organisers are inviting people from local communities to get along and join them on the day for what is sure to be a day of light hearted fun, enjoyment and friendly rivalry.
The Tipperary ETB Mine Olympics this Wednesday in Borrisoleigh is a day out not to be missed.
