Tynan worked his socks off in the game and had the task of keeping the influential half-back line of Limerick occupied but his effort alone was never going to cut it.
He slotted over a fine point in the early stages of the second half when found in space but he just wasn’t able to get possession of the ball and his influence dwindled as the game wore on. Probably did enough to retain his place for round two.
