Car seized in Thurles overnight by gardaí from the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit

Gardai are making the roads safer and last night following an ANPR alert a car was seized in the Thurles area, and the driver had no insurance. 

Gardaí added: "another intercept for Tipperary Roads Policing Unit last night patrolling Thurles after an ANPR alert for no insurance.

"Car seized and court to follow.

"Driving without insurance results in a 2 year disqualification on a first offence and a substantial fine from the Courts."
