The Rebel Hearts performed in Clonoulty at the weekend
Clonoulty Rossmore GAA club welcomed approximately 2,000 people to the Dillon Quirke GAA Grounds on Sunday last for the 7th Annual West's Awake Music Festival.
Thankfully the weather played its part and the punters were treated to almost 7 hours of live music.
Local man Lorcan Kennedy kicked off proceedings and he got a great response from his fellow locals in particular. Papa Zitas were next on as the crowd slowly began to swell in the afternoon.
All Folk’d Up and headliner Johnny Brady really got the crowd up on their feet before the Rebel Hearts really brought the house down to finish and send the crowds home happy on Sunday night.
The Tipperary U20 Team who played in the All Ireland final on Saturday night were amongst those who attended. The Clonoulty Rossmore club wish to thank everyone who paid in to the festival on Sunday.
The club were very proud to welcome people to the grounds from all over Ireland, and a statement said: "we hope everyone had an enjoyable experience.
"Well done to our committee who work tirelessly both in the build up and on the day of the event. The West's Awake would not be possible without the support of our volunteers on the day and we are very lucky indeed to have such a vibrant and supportive community.
"Attention now turns to 2025 when they hope to return even bigger and better. Visit the West’s Awake page on Facebook for photos and videos from Sunday."
