Local Tipperary hospital puts on musical exhibition on hospital grounds

Tipperary University Hospital and Banna Chluain Meala joined forces for a musical evening in front of the hospital, on Thursday, May 30.

Patients, visitors, and staff were treated to a performance by talented dancers and musicians.

The “Healing Arts Programme” at Tipperary University began in January 2024.

Through creative endeavors, this program aims to alleviate loneliness, tension, and anxiety while promoting positivity.

Music, artwork, poetry, and creative writing are used to infuse beauty and grace into the clinical environment.

The management of Tipperary University wishes to extend its gratitude to the members of Banna Chluain Meala, the committee, parents, and drivers who contributed their time to this partnership.

A spokesperson from Banna Chluain Meala expressed their delight in supporting the Patient Advocacy Team’s initiative to enhance patient well-being through music.
