Local Tipperary farmer wins award at National Dairy Awards

Martin Ryan was named the Germinal Responsible Dairy Grassland Manager of the year at the National Dairy Awards event held in the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise.

Martin has been farming in Nodstown, Boherlahan with his wife Aine since 2017.

Commenting on his entry the competition, the judges said: “It was a very impressive entry showing great care and consideration for soil, grass and livestock.”
