Scoil Chormaic, Cashel has been part of the community for many years and now one of Tipperary's most popular socialites - Johnny Luby - is raising funds for the famous school.
"In honour of my 70th birthday I am raising funds for one of my favourite organizations- Scoil Chormaic, Cashel," Johnny Luby posted on his 'Go Fund Me' page online.
He said all are welcome to join him on a very exciting walk followed by a big party: "On Friday July 12th, I will be walking from Castlelake to Cashel along with Fran Curry and my family. We will be having a party in Sir Rowlands, Thomastown that evening where everybody is most welcome.
"I want no presents, I just ask for a small donation to this GoFundMe. All proceeds will go to Scoil Chormaic. To find out more about Scoil Chormaic, here is a link to their website: Scoil Chormaic Website "
Johnny, who lives on the Fourpenny Road near Golden, has chosen this fundraiser to celebrate his upcoming big day. The popular and quick witted Johnny will make sure this is a day to remember.
