Paddy Twomey gave his great ally Billy Lee the first leg of treble when sending out J’adore Chris to win the seven-furlong maiden at Roscommon last week on Tuesday evening.
Owned by Denise, Sarah, Aine Corcoran, she was sent off at odds of 1/3 favourite and readily held the challenge of the Ger Lyons-trained Wiliam F Browne by three-quarters of a length.
Lee later won on the Willie McCreery-trained Counterculture and on Barry Connell’s Avondale to bring his season’s tally in Ireland to 61 winners.
Paddy Twomey and Billy Lee were the big winners at Killarney again last Friday evening where One Look got her head in front once again to take the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes.
Owned by the Connolly Racing Syndicate, the three-year-old was sent off the 13/8 favourite and came with a late run to score by a length from Joseph O'Brien’s 9/2 chance Princess Child.
