Special night of song, dance and history set to take place in Tipperary village

'Whispers of the Abbey' will take place in Holycross Community Centre on Saturday, October 5, at 8pm.

Those in attendance will be treated to the ancient art of storytelling, and hear tales of old, drawing from centuries of folklore about Holycross Abbey.

In addition to the mesmerizing dance of Sean Nós, the Scór group will entertain the guests with traditional music, while Mark O’Gorman will also be there to sing some songs.

The community encourages anyone interested to bring along family and friends to experience the event.

Tickets are available in the parish office, Holycross, which you can contact on 0504 43124.

Tickets are also available in the Abbey Shop.

Adult tickets cost €15, with tickets for children under 12 costing €5,

Tea, coffee and various snacks will be available on the night.
