The Carr family after Holycross Ballycahill won the cup.

The Carr family from Ballycahill has a proud sporting history with Declan captaining Tipperary from midfield to the All-Ireland senior hurling final win in 1991 under the stewardship of Babs Keating.

Declan's brother Tommy managed, and captained, the Dublin footballers while his nephew Simon was a very promising tennis player for Ireland, while now there is another branch of the Carr family winning on the sporting stage.

Izzy and Kate Carr were key players as Holycross Ballycahill secured Tipperary county honours in camogie at the weekend and their proud father Declan was the coach of the winning team.

Here are the county champions pictured alongside other members of their family, snapped after the match by sporting photographer Marty Ryan.
