Rachael Blackmore backs cancer fund for Children's Leopardstown Race Day!

Racing fans, get ready for a thrilling day at the track—this time, it’s for a cause that Irish jockey sensation Rachael Blackmore is throwing her support behind - Cancer Fund for Children’s inaugural Race Day at Leopardstown Racecourse on Sunday, 2nd March 2025.

This special event isn’t just about the excitement of top-class horse racing—it’s about coming together to support children across Ireland diagnosed with cancer and their families. Set against the backdrop of Ireland’s premier racing venue, the Race Day will unite racing enthusiasts, business leaders, and philanthropists for an unforgettable day of sport and giving back.

One of the big highlights of the day is a Q&A session with Rachael Blackmore herself.

The Grand National history-maker and Cancer Fund for Children ambassador will share insights on her career, her passion for racing, and why supporting children facing cancer is a cause so close to her heart.

Cancer Fund for Children (CFFC) is an all-island charity providing life-changing support to children and young people (0-24 years) impacted by cancer, along with their parents and siblings.

CFFC’s work extends from hospitals to homes, communities, and their dedicated short-break therapeutic centre, Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down as well as the soon to be second Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo,  the construction of which commences this summer, through which the charity is determined to support even more families who need their services.
