WHAT A PRIZE! Tipperary school has brilliant prize on offer at 5k run fundraiser next month

A Tipperary secondary school is gearing up for its first ever 5km fun run and walk, with exciting prizes - including tickets to Munster Rugby games at Thomond Park - up for grabs in a sponsorship draw.

Coláiste Phobal in Roscrea, in partnership with its main sponsor, Premier Credit Union, is hosting the community event on Sunday, March 9, at 10 am.

The initiative aims to generate funds for the school's Wellbeing Development program, which supports both the physical and mental health of students while fostering teamwork and school spirit.

The event is expected to unite the Roscrea community in a shared effort to promote fitness and well-being.

Participants of all ages are encouraged to join, whether they choose to run competitively or take a more leisurely walk along the route.
