Gardaí received a report of a three-car road traffic collision on the Callan Road (N76) at Poulacapple on the Kilkenny-Tipperary border at around 5.30pm earlier today.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and two people have been hospitalised as a precaution.
Gardaí have advised that the road is open, but down to one lane at the moment.
Delays are expected.
