Tipperary hurler Gearóid O’Connor was named the Electric Ireland GAA Higher Education Hurler of the Year following the UL campaign where the forward played on a star-studded UL team.
He and the other honorees picked up their accolades at the Electric Ireland Higher Education Rising Stars Awards at Castleknock Hotel in Dublin earlier this week
