Dr Anmol Mahesh was one of 187 graduates awarded the Honours Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Obstetrics (MB, BCh, BAO) degree.
His exceptional academic performance earned him the highest individual accolade of the ceremony, securing five of the 15 Final Medical Medals awarded by the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
Dr. Mahesh, a former student of Rockwell College and Powerstown National School, was recognized for his consistent academic excellence across a rigorous programme of study.
The achievement was celebrated on social media by the University, where he was pictured proudly holding his medals in full graduation regalia.
University of Galway Interim President, Professor Peter McHugh, praised the graduates, saying: “Graduation is not just an end, but the beginning of what our students can and will go on to achieve.”
