The Liam MacCarthy Cup made a special journey to Youghalarra National School and Burgess National School, accompanied by Tipperary stars Darragh McCarthy and Jason Forde on Wednesday last.

It was a memorable occasion for pupils who had the chance to see the iconic trophy up close and meet their heroes.
The celebration grew even brighter when members of the county’s U15 champions visited their former schools to showcase their own trophies after an exceptional season. Their return was a proud moment for teachers, classmates and the wider community.
The day ended with remarkable news for the parish. Donie Nealon, long-serving club President and recently elected North Board President, was named President of the Tipperary GAA County Board.
