A prominent building at the heart of a popular Tipperary tourist town is set to become a new home after receiving the green light from local authorities.

Retention planning permission is needed when changes are made without prior permission, and the person wants to keep them.
After standing empty for years, the building will soon welcome new life, with plans for both a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom home now approved.
Tipperary County Council granted approval for the development, subject to seven conditions.
