People living in Tipperary town have noticed that street lights have gone dark along Station Road, Scallagheen, and An Duiche, with the problem first cropping up on Friday night.

To report a broken street light, go to deadsureapp.com, pick County Tipperary, choose the spot, and click the pole to send your report. If you call 0818 06 5000, give the pole number for each street light.
Tipperary County Council looks after about 18,000 street lights, and this number will increase as new buildings are completed. The Council is swapping out over 11,000 lights for energy-saving LED ones, but some people are worried they are not bright enough.
