Stephen Rosney from Tipperary celebrated a milestone as he clinched his first-ever win on the PDC ProTour.
After earning his PDC Tourcard just last month, he stepped onto the stage at the third Players Championship event in Wigan.
Rosney, 30, defeated Croatia’s Pero Ljubic 6-1 in the first round.
However, in the second round, Rosney was defeated 6-1 by Dutch player and world number 18 Jermaine Wattimena.
