Medals presented to 2026 champions as county finalists progress to provincial stage

Senior Scór 2026 took place in Templederry last Friday evening, as clubs from across the county took to the stage for a memorable night of entertainment.

Those in attendance were treated to a wide variety of performances, with congratulations extended to all clubs that participated in the county final.

The event was compered by Joanne Shanahan, who fulfilled the role of Bean an Tí and kept proceedings running smoothly throughout the evening.

Organisers also paid tribute to judges Sinead and Treasa for their time and expertise, while special thanks were reserved for the Templederry Scór Committee, whose efforts ensured a warm welcome for competitors and supporters alike.

The county’s successful competitors will now progress to the Munster stage, with best wishes extended to each of the winners as they prepare for provincial competition.

Runaí Coiste Scór Thiobraid Árann, Marcas Ó Duinn, presented medals to the 2026 champions on the night. The winners were as follows:

  • Tráth na gCeist: Moyne Templetuohy

  • Amhránaíocht Aonair: Katie Shanahan (Borris-ileigh)

  • Aithriseoireacht: Noel Joyce (JK Brackens)

  • Bailéad Ghrúpa: Tulach Sheasta

  • Nuachleas: Moyne Templetuohy

  • Ceol Uirlise: JK Brackens

  • Rince Seit: Templederry Kenyon's

The focus now shifts to Munster, where the county’s representatives will look to build on their success on the provincial stage.
