Exciting plans are underway to breathe new life into a former church in Clonmel by transforming it into a vibrant restaurant.

Camida Ltd has submitted a planning permission application for a site located on Anglesea Street in Clonmel.

The company wants to turn Fintan Kennedy Hall, a former Methodist Church, into a small, stylish restaurant. Their plan is to demolish a 1983 one-story addition, but to keep the original 1905 church, which is a protected building.

Tipperary County Council is anticipated to reach a decision by April 9.
