Brendan Cummins has made two changes to the Tipperary side that defeated 14-man Cork last week, for the second round clash of the Fulfil Munster U20 Hurling Championship against Waterford in Fraher Field on Wednesday.

After struggling past Cork, Cummins has wielded the axe and brought in Jake Donelan Houlihan and Eoghan Doughan, who will replace Adam Ryan and Shane Ryan from the off.

Waterford provide the opposition on Wednesday, with the Déise licking their wounds after a heartbreaking late loss to Clare in Sixmilebridge in their opening game, where they were the better team for large parts of the contest.

They are much improved in the last two years at this grade despite the poor record overall over the last seven or eight years, and are ably bolstered by their All-Ireland winning minor hurling team from 2025; they will pose plenty of questions to Tipperary as a result.

The game throws-in on Wednesday, April 1 at 7pm in Fraher Field, Dungarvan.
