Mo Chara Animal Rescue: A Titchy Tale

Titch

Titch

Hello ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce myself. My name is Titch which is actually short for Tiny Irresistibly Totally Cute Hound!

I am a miniature Jack Russell Terrier and have been at the rescue for several weeks now. I came here from the dog pound after being found as a stray. My family never came to look for me and as I did not have a microchip they could not be traced. Microchips are very important, they contain all the details needed to reunite lost dogs like me with their owners, and they are now also a legal requirement. Did you know that you could face hefty fines if your dog is not microchipped?

Well the good news is, I now have a microchip. A very nice vet gave me an injection between my shoulders to put it in – it made me jump a little but was very quick and I soon forgot about it. Heaven forbid should I ever get lost again I will soon find my way back home thanks to the chip.

Enough about my microchip though, let me tell you a little more about little me. I am three years old, super friendly, I love cuddles, walks, good food and lazing in front of a warm fire. My coat is smooth and sleek and will require minimal grooming! I am very small (so won't take up too much room on the bed). I love people and am good with other dogs but am not too keen on those pesky felines!

I may be a tiny little lad but my heart is truly huge and I am just waiting to give it to you!
