St. Vincent de Paul appeal
Our National Appeal continues during November and December.
Collections take place at Mass times in local parishes on December 9th and 10th. If you miss us, donations are accepted at Social Services Centre, Bank St Templemore anytime. Your support is appreciated.
Requests for assistance at Christmas should be in this week.
Volunteers are always welcome, please enquire at Social Services if you have time to spare and would like to help. Training is given and Garda vetting is requested.
The Society of St Vincent de Paul has been in Ireland since 1844 and offers friendship, support and assistance when people find themselves in need. When help is requested, members call and try to resolve the difficulties by listening and offering information and practical help. Help may be provided with essential items such as food, fuel and household goods.
