Mo Chara Animal Rescue: Retirement home required!

Mo Chara Animal Rescue: Retirement home required!

Matilda needs a retirement home

Matilda is a beautiful, snow white cat who is 8/9 years old. She found herself homeless after her previous owners relationship broke up.
Matilda is a quiet, sensitive dear and it took her a little time to settle her in the rescue as she found it very stressful being so used to life in a home but with lots of tlc and nice treats Matilda has come out of her shell and is now ready to go to her new forever retirement home.
She is an easy-going lady but would prefer to be an only cat. Matilda loves her food and is not too fussy. She is not used to small children so a home with an older family would be ideal. Matilda is in great health, though a little on the chubby side. If you have a spot on your lap for this older sophisticated lady please contact us on 087 2577182.
Upcoming Events
The summer is a busy time for us attending events and fundraisers but the good news is, this means there are lots of fun ways for you to support our work!
On Saturday June 30th our local Maxi Zoo store in Clonmel have kindly invited us to attend a fun day at the store in Poppyfields Retail Park, Cahir Road, Clonmel. We will be there with some of the dogs from the rescue who are looking for their forever homes and/or lots of cuddles! We’ll also have a bake sale on the day and our fun dog show. There will even be face painting and games for the kids! This is a great opportunity to bring your dog along to socialise with the other dogs and Maxi Zoo’s team will be on hand with some great deals and excellent advice. We would love to meet some of the people from Clonmel and their pets on the day.
On Sunday 1st of July we will hold our usual monthly bake sale outside the Cathedral, Thurles 10am to 1pm. Here you will find a fantastic range of homemade goodies with something to tempt everyone.
Also on July 1st, the wonderful Marjorie and Joe Fairclough are hosting an open garden at their beautiful grounds at Clough Farmhouse, Clonoura, Glengoole, with proceeds raised being donated to the rescue. Members of our team will be there from 2pm-6pm serving tea and home-made cakes. Why not join us on the day for some sweet treats while enjoying the picturesque scenery. Call Marjorie on 0863634071 for further detail
