Roscrea Speakers

Our last meeting was on the 8th of December and was our Christmas party night and what a hugely enjoyable night it turned out to be.
We had speeches from both ends of the experience ladder in our club with speeches from one of our newest members which we call an “ Ice breaker “ and speeches from more experienced members.
For anybody , delivering your first speech is a huge challenge but also great achievement and Annemarie achieved this magnificently.
Peadar O’ Donovan delivered what was undoubtedly one of the funniest and most entertaining speeches we have had in our club and typical now of the confidence and character Peadar has developed from his time in our club.
Topical issues for on the spot discussion were supplied by Una Mooney and had a Christmas theme throughout and everybody entered in to the fun and festive spirit.
We had a shortened meeting and then adjourned to the bar in Racket Hall Hotel, Roscrea for festive drinks and refreshments where all enjoyed a lovely Christmas celebration .
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and staff of Rackett Hall Hotel, Roscrea for their continued and generous support for our club and to wish them all a very happy Christmas and successful new year . Indeed we are fortunate to have a hotel of this calibre in our town.
Our first post Christmas meeting is on Thursday January 12 either by zoom from your home or in our meeting room in Rackett Hall Hotel at 8 pm .
Why not take the opportunity to make it your new years resolution to come and check out the benefits our club can offer you in your personal and professional life . Please call larry on 086 8125427 or email roscreaspeakers21@gmail.com for further information or meeting zoom link.
Finally we would like to wish all our friends, members and families a very happy and peacefull Christmas.
