Cycling club, Panduit Carrick Wheelers, have spent another year promoting racing events on a national level for elite riders.
The club is also spending a lot of time promoting cycling to junior and underage riders as a safe place to be social, meet like-minded boys and girls and get expert advice from trained and knowledgeable senior members.
It has been a busy year. Club chairman Tom O’Connell’s tenure came to an end in this year and the club is in a great place as a result of Tom’s detailed and hard work.
The incoming chairman is Hugh Mulhearne, a man with a lot of cycling experience at elite level while having the knowledge and care to guide junior riders.
