Panduit Carrick Wheelers cyclist Hugh Óg Mulhearne (centre) celebrates a victory during 2022
A highlight of the Panduit Carrick Wheelers year was the kids’ skills week, leisure and learning being an important part of the club.
Children from five years up learned the basics from vital skills on their bikes, how to brake, how to weave between obstacles, how to balance and how to have fun, all in the scenic and safe grounds of Treacy Park.
There were also the leisure Sunday Spins that kept all members in touch and moving.
The Bobby Power Memorial Road Race yet again saw the best riders in the country come to race and Paul Kennedy won the prestigious cup.
The club is lucky to have some top underage riders competing and this year they represented Carrick and its sponsor Panduit so well.
