One woman has died and another is seriously injured following a train collision.
Gardaí and emergency services remain at the scene of the incident, which occurred on the train line at Knocks Park, Ballisadare in County Sligo this afternoon (Wednesday June 14) at approximately 4pm.
The body of the woman aged in her 40s remains at the scene, while a second woman aged in her 20s has been taken to Sligo University Hospital with serious injuries.
The Coroner has been notified and Forensic Collision Investigators are en route to the scene.
No further information is available at this time.
