Man arrested after €2.1 million worth of cocaine seized in Rosslare
Gardaí have said that approximately 30kgs of cocaine with an estimated value of €2.1 million was seized on Thursday morning in Rosslare, County Wexford.
The seizure was part of a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Wexford Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue Customs Service.
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 50s following the seizure. The man is currently being detained in the south eastern region under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
