Gardaí search for witnesses after child allegedly assaulted by man in Ballymun

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a report of an alleged assault involving a child in Ballymun, Dublin.

The incident involved the assault on a child by an adult male and is reported to have taken place at a bus stop on Ballymun Road at approximately 9.50pm on Friday, 27 December.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward, especially anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the assault or those who may have direct knowledge of the incident.
