Emotions were high in Croke Park today as Mayo star Conor Loftus kicked Crossmolina Deel Rovers to All-Ireland Club Intermediate Football Championship glory.
Loftus stepped up to the plate to deliver a winning kick to the net for a 1-12 to 0-13 victory with team captain Mikie Loftus dedicating the win to Conor's late fiancée Róisín Cryan who tragically died two weeks ago.
The match was originally supposed to take place on January 12 but had been postponed following her passing.
