Seven cars were seized by An Garda Síochána in Dublin
An Garda Síochána conducted a check-point on Monday January 27th where seven drivers had their cars seized.
Santry Roads Policing seized seven cars at a checkpoint in Balbriggan in Dublin.
Six cars were all seized for having no car insurance.
One of these drivers also had no driving licence.
The two other cars were seized from unaccompanied learner drivers.

On social media platform X, one user commented "I’m stunned at the amount of uninsured drivers …".

Another said, "Amazing what random checkpoints do. Please do them more. Us insurance paying and license renewing folk are looking like mugs paying everything".
