Gardaí arrested third man in connection with fatal stabbing in County Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have made a third arrest in relation to the fatal stabbing, that occurred on Saturday 15th of February 2025.

A man in his 20s was arrested Monday evening and is currently being detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region.

The two other individuals arrested as part of the investigation remain in Garda and Police custody at this time.

Investigating Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward, any person who may have been present in the vicinity of South Anne Street/Duke Lane Upper, Dublin 2 between 2:45am and 3:30am on Saturday 15th February 2025.

Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have information about any of these incidents or has any mobile phone footage recorded at the relevant locations, and any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area or in the vicinity of Dawson Street and St. Stephen's Green at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

A man in his 20s arrested as part of this investigation has been charged. He is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court at Court 3, Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate Street  this morning 18th February 2025.

The two other individuals arrested as part of the investigation remain in Garda and Police custody at this time.
