Taoiseach Micheál Martin is set to meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Shannon Airport this afternoon.
The Taoiseach, who was due to visit Belfast cancelled his plans to meet the Ukrainian President.
President Zelenskyy is due to meet Donald Trump tomorrow and will be stopping in Shannon on his way to America.

Earlier in the week, Taoiseach Micheál Martin told President Zelenskyy: “We in Ireland stand with you.
"And we do need to say more, we do need to spend more, and we need to do more, and Ireland will contribute more financially on all fronts and in all areas, and will strengthen our commitments on that front.”
