MISSING: Gardaí issue appeal as boy [17] missing close to a week

Gardaí are concerned for Jake's wellbeing

A 17-year-old boy named Jake Hafford from Sligo has been reported missing since March 15 2025.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing Jake's whereabouts.

It is understood Jake may have travelled to the Longford area.

He is described as being approximately 5 feet 11 inches in height with a slim build, short brown hair and blue eyes and it is not known what Jake was wearing when last seen.

Gardaí are concerned for Jake's wellbeing.

Anyone with information on Jake’s whereabouts is asked to contact Sligo Garda Station on 071 915 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
