Gardaí issued an immediate fine to a motorist in Dublin this week after the driver gave a ridiculous excuse as to why they were driving the wrong way down a one way street into oncoming traffic.
In a post on X, Gardaí said,
"We were on patrol on Pleasant Street this Saturday when we saw this motorist go the wrong way down a one way street, straight into oncoming traffic!
"The driver was stopped and said that they "didn't see the signs."
"They were issued an FCPN."
