Last minute Easter Bank Holiday deal amid European heatwave

Hundreds of families and couples are making last minute escapes to sunnier locations as Irish Easter Bank Holiday weekend to see showers and even snow in some parts of the country.

There has been an influx of last-minute bookers with a 20% rise in departures of all Irish holidays booked in April so far, one booking agency has reported.

According to Met Éireann, an ‘unsettled week’ with the Easter Bank Holiday weekend is set with rain, blustery winds and some part of the Island already experiencing snow, and European locations see sunshine and warm weather.
