Gardai are assisting the PSNI who are seeking to locate Maria Silaieva from Dromore, County Down
Gardai have issued an urgent appeal for help in locating a 17-year-old girl who has been reported missing in Northern Ireland.
They say they are assisting the Police Service of Northern Ireland in seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Maria Silaieva who is reported as missing from her home in Dromore, County Down.
In the appeal, issued this Saturday morning, they say Maria attended an event in Dundalk, County Louth on Thursday, April 17 and is now believed to be in the Dublin area.
Maria is described as being approximately 5 feet 4 inches in height with a slim build, long brown hair and greenish-brown eyes.
Gardaí say they, their colleagues in the PSNI and Maria's family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Anyone with any information on Maria’s current whereabouts is asked to contact Ballymun garda station in Dublin on 01 666 4400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
