Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a road traffic collision which left a woman in her 60s seriously injured in Blessington, County Wicklow over the weekend.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the two-vehicle collision on the N81 at Tinode in Blessington at around 11.30pm on Sunday night.
The driver of one of the cars, a woman in her 60s, was seriously injured in the collision and removed from the scene. In an update from gardaí, the woman remains in serious condition at Tallaght University Hospital.
The second driver, a man in his 20s, was not injured.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carried out a technical examination of the scene.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward, especially those who may have camera or dashcam footage.
Road users who were travelling on or near the N81 in Blessington between 11:15pm and 11:45pm and who may have camera or dashcam footage are asked to make it available to gardaí.
