A man in his 30s has died following an incident in Cork City in the early hours of Sunday morning last.
Gardaí in Cork are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death of the man following an incident in Hollyville, Hollyhill, Cork City on Sunday morning, 16th November 2025.
Shortly after 4.30am, Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene following reports of a disturbance involving two individuals at Hollyville, Hollyhill, Cork City.
A male aged in his 30’s was conveyed to Cork University Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Gardai have said that a post-mortem examination has been completed, the results of which are not being released for operational reasons.

A male aged in his 50s continues to be detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at a Garda Station in the Co. Cork area.
Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to this incident to come forward.
