A planning application has been refused by Tipperary County Council for the construction of dozens of houses and apartments in Nenagh.
The application by Binn An Fheadain Limited was seeking permission to construct 16 semi-detached three-bedroom two-storey houses, eight three-bedroom two-storey terraced houses, and eight two-bedroom apartments over four storeys at Castleway, Dublin Road.
If granted, a new entrance gates and access road to existing holiday homes would also have been constructed.
However, the council refused the planning application on August 27.
