'He will be so missed' - Sadness in Tipperary following death of beloved father

Tributes have been paid following the sad death of Jimmy Quinn, late of Baron Park, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.

Jimmy passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, peacefully at Tipperary University hospital with his family by his side.

He is predeceased by his father Jimmy, mother Ronnie and his brother Dessie.

Jimmy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Maxine, loving father of Janelle and Rebecca, brothers Kevin and Brian, sisters Veronica, Jackie and Clodagh, son-in-law Evan, mother-in-law Kate, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends.

Heartfelt condolences have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Jimmy, with one mourner writing,

"Sincere condolences to all Jimmy's family on this sad time, Jimmy had a brilliant sense of humour and an encounter on the town with him was guaranteed laughs. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace pal."

Another wrote,

"So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing some great memories over the years and laughs may you rest in eternal peace."

While another wrote, 

"Condolences Maxine, Janelle, Becky and all the Quinn family at this sad time. Jimmy was such a pleasant man. Always a pleasure to meet. Thinking of you all . May he rest in peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at his home this Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm with removal on Saturday afternoon to St Oliver's Church for Requiem Mass on arrival at 12.30pm followed by interment in St.Patrick's Cemetery.
