Tallaght superstar Rhasidat Adeleke has taken the Paris Olympics by storm so far, cruising to the final of the 400 metres and setting a trend with her signature white hair ties.
The Irish athlete finished in a solid second place in her semi-final on Wednesday, securing her a chance at a medal position in the race this evening. Rhasidat has already made history before the final has even taken place, as she has become the first female Irish athlete to make it to an Olympic sprint final.
Here's all you need to know ahead of the all important final today -
What time does the race start at?
The race will start this evening at 7pm Irish time, and 8pm French time in Stade de France. There have been some minor delays throughout the week on the track, so this time may be pushed back marginally.
Where can I watch the race?
The race will be broadcast live as part of RTÉ Two's Olympic coverage, and can also be viewed via the RTÉ player. BBC One is also expected to show the event live.
Will Rhasidat be in with a chance of medalling?
Rhasidat faces stiff competition in tonight's final, with former world champ Salwa Eid Naser of Bahrain looking impressive against the Irish athlete during Wednesday's semi-final.
Reigning world champion and Tokyo silver medallist Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic also finished strong in both the heat and semi-final, while Polish athlete Natalia Kaczmarek, who pipped Adeleke for the European crown in June, is also a medal hope.
Britain's Amber Anning, USA's Alexis Holmes, Henriette Jæger of Norway and Sada Williams of Barbados are also competing tonight.
A fierce battle for bronze is expected, with Polish star Kaczmarek saying on Wednesday that "there are also a few favourites that dropped off, so I think it will be a big fight for third place at least".
Are there other Irish Olympians competing this weekend?
The Irish women's 4X400 metre relay ran a solid heat earlier this morning to secure their spot in the final tomorrow, with rumours that Rhasidat may compete with the team following her 400m final.
The final will take place at 8:14pm Irish time.
