Collins, 21, was named man of the match on the night as the Irish centre-half went up against Mohamed Salah, Darwin Núñez and new Reds signing Cody Gakpo.
Hodge, 20, was solid in midfield as the Irish under-21 international came up against Jurgen Klopp's trio of Fabinho, Thiago and Jordan Henderson.
The Wolves goalscorers on the night were Gonçalo Guedes and Hwang Hee-chan while Núñez and Salah netted for Liverpool.
