Heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for a Tipperary man after a workplace accident.
Liam Donnelly of Gurteen, Nenagh died in a workplace accident in Roscrea on Wednesday afternoon.
Originally from Holycross and aged 52, he was working as an electrician at a water treatment plant.
Since the tragic news broke out, tributes have been pouring in for Mr Donnelly, who has been described as a "caring gentleman".
"So saddened and shocked to hear the sudden and tragic loss of our great friend Liam, our hearts are broken. Such a lovely kind, caring gentleman, always a lovely smile & loved having the craic.
"Always there for us to give a help in hand whenever we needed him. Our deepest and sincere sympathies to Marie, Dale, Ross, grandson Harry, Dale and Ross partners Cara, Zoe and all extended families relatives and friends. Thinking of ye all at this difficult time," a friend wrote in tribute.
"Deepest sympathy to Marie, Dale, Ross and extended Donnelly and Shanahan family on your devastating loss. Will always remember his wit and good humour and very talented skills. May Liam rest in peace," someone paid in tribute.
Gardaí are investigating the death, which occurred shortly after 12.30pm on Wednesday, May 29.
A spokesperson for the gardai confirmed that the HSA and local Coroner have been notified.
Mr Donnelly's remains were removed to UHL for a post-mortem.
Enquires are ongoing.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Maura, brother Seamus.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family; wife Marie (née Shanahan), sons Dale and Ross, grandson Harry, partners Cara and Zoe, brother Kieran, sister Aine, Kieran's partner Bernie nephews Luke and John, nieces Elisha, Grace, Olivia, Hollie, Jackie, Michelle, Elaine and Joanne, sisters-in-law Diane, Teresa and Eileen, brothers-in-law Paul, Mick and Jack, uncles, aunts, cousins, work colleagues, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Saturday 1st June from 5pm to 7pm.
Arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Templederry on Sunday 2nd June at 1.30pm for Requiem Mass at 2pm.
Burial afterwards in Templederry New Cemetery.
