Spikeball Blitz winners pose with their medals
On Monday 30th April Transition Year students at Our Lady's Templemore held a Spikeball Blitz in the school gym for pupils from four nearby primary schools.
Pupils from St.Joseph’s NS, St Colmcilles NS, St Mary’s NS and Castleiney NS took part in a Spikeball Blitz Event.
This was organised by 11 of our TY girls under the guidance of their teacher Ms Rachel Kelly. It followed a six week training course in Spikeball which took place in each of the above schools.

Everyone had lots of fun and really enjoyed the day. Each pupil received a certificate of participation, with medals for the overall winners. There was also a award for the most improved in each school.
Well done to all, great to hear lots of laughter from the gym.
