Dr Aisling Butler Memorial Recipient Meadbh Putti with Evelyn and John Butler
Ursuline student Meadbh Putti was the worthy recipient of this year’s Dr Aisling Butler Memorial Bursary. Meadbh achieved outstanding Leaving Cert results and is currently studying Medicine in UCC.
John and Evelyn Butler presented her with this gift at a ceremony in the Ursuline on Wednesday 19 September, attended by the whole school.
Meadbh thanked them for their generosity and the positive legacy they have established in the name of their daughter, Aisling.
Meadbh was accompanied by her parents Michelle and Joe Putti and her grandparents Mary and Johnny Hoolan.
The Dr Aisling Bursary was established by John and Evelyn in memory of their daughter who died in the tragic Air France disaster along with her friends Jane Deasy and Eithne Walls.
