JOB ALERT: North Tipperary Hospice Movement Limited are recruiting: Administration Coordinator
The Role
As the services provided by the organisation have grown in extent and as the demands of regulators and funders have increased, the need for a role to coordinate the administrative services of the organisation has become clear and the Board has now decided to recruit a person to fill that role.
The new role of Administration Coordinator reporting to the Chair and the Board will have responsibility for developing and implementing the administration and information management systems for the organisation. He/she will also work closely with the Chair in identifying opportunities for funding and in preparing funding applications.
They will oversee the administration systems and processes in the individual centres as well as in the organisation as a whole. They will facilitate the development and demonstration of good practice in the area of governance and will set up and administer the Mind the Client recording system for the cancer care centres to help with future funding applications.
Person Specification
Applicants are required to demonstrate that they possess the following attributes: The ability to manage an office, devise and implement administrative systems and maintain high-quality digital records; the ability to interpret and write reports; good team-working skills, excellent communication skills; data-recording and reporting and financial administration skills will also be required. Knowledge of IT systems including MS Office and MS Outlook or equivalent and of accounting systems and proven IT skills are also required.
• A degree, diploma or other qualification in business, office administration or equivalent
• Experience of working with voluntary Boards or Committees
• Experience in making financial and other returns and in the preparation of reports
• Experience of meeting minute-taking and preparation
• Familiarity with current legal requirements of good governance including risk management, GDPR, health and safety and employee rights
