Playing season starts for Carrick Swan GAA Club's Senior and Junior teams

Carrick Swan GAA Club

Carrick Swan GAA Club’s Senior team is drawn to play in Division 2, Group 2 of the county league. 

The team’s first match will be an away game against Loughmore/Castleiney on the weekend ending March 19. 

Killenaule, Portroe, Gortnahoe/Glengoole and Templederry Kenyons are the rest of the teams in the  group.

The Juniors also start their campaign away the same weekend when they play Boherlahan-Dualla. 

They are  Division 5, Group 2. This group also contains Knockavilla/Kickhams, Ballylooby/Castlegrace, Cappawhite and St Patrick’s.

The Under 13A footballers lost to Ardfinnan in their championship opening game. 

The Under 13D game was rescheduled.

Juvenile games for the coming week

Saturday, March 4: U13D Football: Swan v Ballylooby at 10.30am in Ballylooby;

U13A Football: Swan v Clonmel Óg at 12noon at The Green, Carrick;

Sunday, March 5: U13D Football: Swan v Fethard at 11am at The Green, Carrick.

 Juvenile Lotto

Carrick Swan Club’s juvenile lotto jackpot is €3,500 this week. 

Five players matched three numbers last week and won €40 each. 

Numbers drawn were 12,13,22,23.

 Membership Fees

Club membership fees  can be paid online through the Foireann website. 

They can also be paid in cash to any committee member.

Volunteering 

All adults getting involved with Swan GAA Club juvenile teams in any capacity this year must be Garda vetted and have relevant courses done.
